Boy it sure has been a while since I have posted... In the time that has passed I went to Jordan and was able to see the Middle East Championships which was amazing of course... I had surgery on my plantar facitis which was wonderful as my feet no longer hurt....
As of late, Reilly and I have been working to get our horses under saddle and in shape. Mashallah Anuket is our Harakka daughter (Harakka is by Anaza Bay Shahh). She has put on some weight and we are working with her to build some muscle... She is very very sweet but doesn't have alot of experience with basic things like being clipped and staying out of your space. Last weekend we bathed her and worked on clipping her up a bit. She really didn't like the clipper at all around her head and it was quite hard getting her to stand still... I went ahead and worked her in the round pen to try and get her to be tired so that she would let me clip her bridle path... She has a long beautiful neck, and it would be nice to see it! Anyway - here she is in the round pen - where I'm basically trying to get her to burn off some of her energy... She was not washed or clipped here - she is a mess, but we had to start somewhere...
